Mixture: Indianapolis Cocktail Tour
Mixture is the brainchild of the Indiana Craft Beverage Association, which serves to empower industry professionals, educate the community and increase the exposure of Indiana, both locally and nationally, as a serious destination for craft beverages.
At this inaugural event guests will check in on Georgia Street (check in includes picking up Cocktail Tour Passport, Transportation Pass + signing a waiver…please drink responsibly) where they will find Live Music, Food Vendors and Beer Cocktails from local Indiana Breweries. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the scene as well as the Wholesale District’s participating venues before hopping over to Mass Ave with their preferred mode of transportation (for more information on transportation please see below).
Serving as home base for Mixture, Georgia Street is a destination in its own right! The western portion of the center block of Georgia Street will feature live music from Indy’s own, Pork N Beans Brass Band as well as samples from favorite local restaurants and beer cocktails. Whether you linger on Georgia Street prior to imbibing on the Tour or make it your last stop you won’t be disappointed!
Mixture is unique among all other cocktail festivals in our design; the “Tour of the City” component encourages attendees to get out and enjoy the flavor of the city. Indy Brew Bus will provide transportation between drop points. There are seven strategically placed Drop Off/Pick Up locations between the Wholesale District, Mass Ave, Fletcher Place and Fountain Square. Participants of Mixture will have access to transportation throughout the evening and are able to spend as much time as they wish visiting the participating accounts in those areas.
Choose your own adventure
Indy’s best bartenders at participating venues are creating an assortment of modern & classic cocktails for you to enjoy, these will be listed on the tour passport. Guests have the option of visiting each bar on their passport each night or choosing their favorite spirit and concentrating on that area … attendees particularly partial to Bourbon can choose to spend the bulk of the evening on Mass Ave on Friday night or perhaps the Wholesale District on Saturday, while participants with a palate for Tequila progress to Fountain Square.
